Waxahachie Preparatory Academy desires to offer a quality college-prep education for families that are a fit for the school. Our goal is to help as many students as possible find value in the educational concept we offer. That desire is the reason we have begun a Financial Aid program based upon financial need. We never want money to be a hindrance to students who desire to be part of our school family.

WPA is very pleased to announce that it has joined hands with FFNA (Family Financial Needs Assessment) to help our school offer financial assistance for a family’s school tuition bill. We encourage you to click on their logo at the right to learn more about their service. If your family is interested in applying, please keep the following in mind.
Who should apply?
As a general rule of thumb, if a family's total income is under $42,000 and their tuition is over $2,000, they will probably qualify for financial aid. FFNA recommends that schools offer minimum aid of $300 and maximum aid of 50% of tuition. However, FFNA can increase or decrease the maximum percentage at the school's request. Your financial aid award is good for the full current school year; there is no need to reapply for the spring semester!
Income over $42,000?
Once a family's income exceeds $42,000, then their tuition must be at least 10% of their income to qualify for tuition assistance. (e.g., an income of $50,000 would require a family tuition bill of $5,000 or more to qualify for aid.)
WPA Additional Requirement
• Each student qualifying for aid must be enrolled in a minimum of four (4) class hours. Elementary courses must total at least four (4) hours of enrolled classes.
• Only one discount/financial aid consideration can apply. (i.e. you may use the multiple student discount or the tuition assistance allowance, but not both)
Please complete the on-line fast back application to qualify for any financial aid this coming semester.
The completed packet must be submitted to FFNA, along with the required fee of $40. FFNA will report the percentage for which the family qualifies. At that point, the school will need 7-10 business days to process a response to the families who applied for financial assistance. The maximum tuition assistance allowed is 50% of tuition. This financial assistance is only for tuition; all other fees are charged as stated in the enrollment sheets.
