I want to thank you for taking time to look into Waxahachie Preparatory Academy. At WPA, we strive to bring our families together with the "gift of time." We live in a hectic world that seeks to pull parents and kids away from each other. Here at our school, we seek to partner with parents to bring the family together and honor God in all that we do.
For over sixteen years, WPA has been committed to training up the next generation of Christian leaders. We know that your children are precious to you, and we take the opportunity to educate those children with great care and prayer.
May God bless you as you consider WPA.
Lynette Green - Interim Administrator
Welcoming Our New Administrator
February 9, 2019
Dear WPA Family,
Thank you for praying with us during our Administrator search process. Over the last several
months we have seen the Lord’s hand of direction and provision as we prayerfully discerned
God’s leading. In preparing to update you, we would say with David in Psalm 109.27, “Let them
know that this is your hand; you, O Lord, have done it!”
We are excited to announce that Mr. Mike Partain is joining the WPA family to serve as our new
Administrator. Mr. Partain, who holds an M.Ed. in Educational Administration, will initially serve
as our Administrative Consultant, working alongside of Ms. Green, for the remainder of the
2018-2019 school year. During this transition period, Ms. Green will continue her excellent
leadership in the daily oversight and operation of the school. Mr. Partain will assume the
leadership role and responsibilities as Administrator beginning June 1, 2019.
Mr. Partain’s diverse and extensive 30+ year experience includes being the founding
Headmaster for two Christian schools, division principal at all levels (elementary, middle, and
secondary) in a number of schools, and Administrator for a number of schools throughout the
DFW area and as far away as Shanghai, China. Mr. Partain’s experience also includes serving
as an Administrator with a University-Model® school. God has confirmed to us that Mr. Partain
has the vision and skill set required for such a time as this for WPA.
We look forward to welcoming Mr. Partain on campus beginning next week. We would also like
to thank Ms. Green for the valuable input and help that she has contributed throughout this
entire process. We are thankful and excited as we think about God’s provision and plans for the
WPA family moving forward.
